The French luxury brand, Dior, released its commercial for the Fall 2013 collection. It comes after the commercial released in 2012, 'Secret Garden', which had more emphasis on the beautiful interiors of Château de Versailles. This commercial, however, takes place outside in the gardens of a once again abandoned Château de Versailles.
This image above is very similar, maybe even intentionally, to the painting by Edouard Manet and it once again reinforces the image of Dior as a classic, luxury couture brand. The silhouettes are beautiful and exude high class. The designer that has replaced John Galliano is Belgian designer Raf Simons and he is carrying on the Dior image very nicely.
This commercial is just beautiful with the models dressed glamorously in the fogged woods. It is an interesting image that fits perfectly for the Dior image. The music in the commercial is Behind the Wheel by Depeche Mode and the previous video also uses music by Depeche Mode. Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin have directed both commercials as well as many other fashion brands commercials. I love this commercial as well as Dior's Fall 2013 collection .
