Vera Wang began her career as the youngest fashion editor at Vogue at the age of 23. After 16 years there she went to work at Ralph Lauren as a design director. She opened her first store on Madison Avenue in New York City which opened the world of fashion to the bridal industry. Her designs were so new and fresh with great details. From that moment on she has covered almost every aspect of the fashion industry from bridal, ready to wear, eye wear, foot wear, jewelry and even more.
