This past friday, I witnessed an entire crowd having an 1980's flashback as I watched Billy Idol live in concert. Even though I never lived in the 80's I was really enjoying watching everyone, especially Billy Idol. He was amazing in concert for being in his late 50's. I loved listening to his music and the band was amazing which included Steve Stevens who was Billy Idols original guitarist in the 80's when he went on his solo career after Generation X broke up. The music was loud and full of energy which is a combination for a great concert.
The one comment I must make, being the youngest in the crowd, is that soccer moms need to go out on the weekends more because they were CRAZY! Sloppy drunk women in their 40-50's is not a fun crowd. Other than that though, Billy Idol has still got it and will probably keep touring as long as he can.
