Music Monday: HAIM
With summer winding down and fall just around the corner the Festival season is also coming to an end which means new band to the music scene, HAIM, is returning to America from Europe for their fall tour. California has done it again; produced a great band with a sound that stands out.
The band consists of three sisters, Este, Danielle and Alana Haim as well as drummer Dash Hutton, from Los Angeles, California. Their sound is very reminiscent of the nineties but still seems very new. My favorite aspect of this band is that it is an all girl band. Their songs are different but still contain that catchy hook required if a band wants people to remember them. They have released an EP but their full length album, Days Are Gone, is set to release September 27, 2013.
Their singles include Forever, Falling, and The Wire. I highly suggest you check them out!
