First DIY- T-Shirt Headband
If you are like me and have so many old t-shirts you don't know what to do with or you have a shirt that is just way too long, I found an easy fix to this problem. T-shirt headbands are basically just the end of the shirt but can be styled so its all your own. This particular one I bleached because the color is a little bright. I will take you through the steps. 1. Find that old shirt, or the shirt that is way too long to wear.

2. Measure 3"- 5" (depending on your preference) from the bottom of the shirt. Mark a dotted line as a guide for the next step.
3. Cut along the dotted line.
4. I felt that this color was a little intense so I bleached it a little. For a fun effect I wrapped rubber bands about 1"-2" apart. Then I poured 1/3-1/2 cup of bleach and 2 cups of water in a bucket. I let the headband soak in this for about 30 min but you can use your own judgement.
After it soaks, rinse the bleach out and let it dry.
5. I enjoy wearing this headband doubled and knotted as an added detail. But, you can wear it however you want.

| Made this out of a lighter color t-shirt and decided to paint it with water colors (can't wash it but it looks cool!) |
