As most of you know New York Fashion Week began September 5th and has been in full swing for 3 days now. I have been checking out Style.com for all the images and videos from the runway of my favorite designers. These are just some of my favorites from the past three days of Fashion Week.
Prabal Gurung's collection was filled with vibrant patterns and classic 1950 silhouettes. I loved the sheer patterns over the skirt as well as the cat eye sunglasses. It is the right amount of girly with the colors, but an added elegance with the silhouettes.
One of my favorite designers Christian Siriano has done it again and shown a beautiful collection. The floral patterns and sheer are perfect for spring. He also included lovely gowns as he always does. His boyfriend, Brad Walsh, actually filmed his whole show on google glass so everyone can watch it.
Alexander Wang is always a highlight of fashion week and he once again proved to be a fantastic designer. His clothes are what all trendy women in NYC want to be wearing and I want to be one of them. Not only did he have a sheer shirt with parental advisory across the front but also multiple pieces with his name in cutouts and at a quick glance it appears to be just a pattern.
I cannot wait to see what the rest of Fashion Week has in store.
