With the release of his debut album, Long Way Down, 22 year old Tom Odell has catapulted to a star in a very short time. He is a British singer, songwriter and piano player who writes beautiful music. This type of music may not be for everyone, but I think there is something special about it.
Before the release of this album he released Songs From Another Love EP that got many peoples attention. He performed live at Burberry Prorsums' Autumn/ Winter 2013 show and his music is being used in their Autumn/ Winter 2013 campaign that features Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge. His music earned him BRIT's Critics Choice Award earlier this year which solidified him as a musician to watch.
Some of the more popular songs off this album are Another Love, Hold Me and Grow Old With Me. You should also check out the rest of the album which includes other powerful songs such as I Know, Can't Pretend, and Till I Lost. I personally can't stop listening to this album and can't wait to see what he does next.
